Sustainability runs through our core so we love to delve into how much energy your building is currently using and how we can make cost and environmental savings. We look at every aspect of the buildings, including walls, windows, doors, floors, current heating system, lighting, ventilation and insulation. We report on existing consumption as well as what your projected consumption could be, with energy fixes in place, and which areas you could consider improving. We understand this is budget dependent and so work on three cost options of low to high, with your projected return on any improvements made. During an energy audit we use tools such as thermal imaging to better understand the movement of heat through the building’s fabric. This along with temperature and humidity readings will allow us to make specific recommendations for the entire house as well as each room.
